CHARITY NIGHT - 28th
MAY 2009
The Charity Night Meal at Mulinos Restaurant on Thursday 28th May
WAS A FABULOUS SUCCESS ! !
For a starter, the restaurant was sold out on the night! Steve Clancy, the owner of Mulinos, had decided to make it a 'closed' session evening and, with the introduction of a four course set menu, all who attended had a very enjoyable and fun evening.
Our main aims for the evening, apart form having a fantastic meal, were to raise funds and to try to re-home a greyhound, or two.
The first part was a resounding success, achieving over £233 on the night. This was made up from the Raffle (£151), the collecting pot (£17.77) from the counter, and the most generous donation of all the staff's tips for the night, which added a further £64.86 to the total for the night.
Our secondary aim also seems to have had success, we have a offer to re-home a cat-friendly greyhound, and an offer of foster care as needed (both subject to the necessary home-visits, of course).
We would like to extend a very big THANK YOU to Steve and all the staff at Mulinos Restaurant, for making the night the success that it turned out to be.
We would also like to thank all who donated prizes for the Raffle, all the prizes drawn on the night have been claimed, there are no unclaimed prizes.
And last, but by no means least, we must extend a warm thanks to all who attended on the night, without you the night could not have been the outstanding success that it was
