Adoption

If you are interested in adopting a greyhound why not visit the kennels and take a few of the dogs out for a walk?  Diane will be able to advise you which greyhounds are most suitable for you and your circumstances.  The kennels are located in Hexhamshire approximately 15 minutes outside Hexham itself.  Ring Diane on 01434 673804 before you travel.

Once you have chosen a dog we do an informal home visit where we visit you in your home and answer any questions you may have and give you some hints and tips on settling your new pet in.  This takes about 45 minutes.  Some of our greyhounds are small animal friendly so please let us know all of your family members!

After this you are welcome to pick up your new greyhound.  We do ask for a £100 donation which goes a small way towards the cost of neutering.  All the dogs are microchipped and vaccinated and come with 4 weeks free pet insurance.  We give you a leather collar and lead set and a muzzle to get you started so all that you need is food, a bed and some bowls.
